‘Ali Riaz Malik’ Inaugurates Water Supply in Bahria Town Karachi
Bahria Town CEO Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik has said that Bahria Town is constructing two underground water tanks having a capacity of 400k gallons each and one overhead water tank with the capacity of 100k gallons for every precincts. He said RO plants of 200k gallons are also under construction.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday when he formally inaugurated the water supply from Karachi Water Board by opening the valve, Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik said the real-estate developer is providing world-class facilities for the residents of Bahria Town Karachi.
“It is a matter of great delight that Bahria Town Karachi has started handing over possession to the owners of the commercial and residential plots within a short span of 8 months,” he said.
Last month, a multi-billion agreement to add 500MW to power-starved Karachi was signed between Bahria Town and K-Electric. LNG and coal power plants will be set up at Bahria Town under this agreement which aims to provide uninterrupted power supply to the residents. Bahria Town, regarded as the largest private housing society in Asia, is building a Grand Jamia Masjid that can accommodate 800 thousand people at one time.
