Malik Riaz hussain gets Awarded with the Humanitarian Award
Punjab Governor; Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has presented the
special award to Malik riaz hussain in a
special event which was been organized in order to mark the United Nations
World Water Day in one of the local hotels. The award was duly received by
Bahria Town CEO Zain Malik as Malik Riaz Hussain couldn’t attend the ceremony
due to his professional commitments.
Governor Sarwar further congratulated Mr. Malik Riaz Hussain & family
whilst stating that he and his team from
Bahria Town have played a key role in the overall development around.
“Successful and prominent businesses have a responsibility to serve community
and Mr. Hussain is fulfilling his responsibility in a befitting manner,” he
further added.
On the other side, the organizer of the event; Human Rights
Group, further highlighted and applauded
the efforts in terms of various social services by Mr. Hussain. They
also quoted that Malik
Riaz is the ‘human friendly aspect of the business community’.
It was been further stated that Bahria Town and Malik
riaz hussain have donated Rs 200
million to help the drought victims in Tharparkar in comparison to Rs 100 million which was been announced by the
provincial government in the same
regards. Moreover, more than 100,000 people have been provided with free meals,
twice a day by the famous Bahria Town Dastarkhwans, which are been functional
around d15 locations in the country.
On the other side, whilst speaking to the media after the
event, Zain Malik quoted Mr. Hussain as a true patriot with all the big heart and noble
efforts towards humanity. “His philanthropy is a reflection of his success,” He
further added. It was also bene mentioned that Bahria Dastarkhwans have
permanently been functional across locations like Tharparkar and people around
have been facilitated with thousands of liters of water on a daily basis with
hundreds of water holes getting drilled in order to provide a permanent
solution for their needs.
Moreover, Pak Oasis have been honored for their drinking water
services and the late Haji Abdur Razzak was also been honored for his social
services. The ceremony was also been attended by Danish ambassador; Jasper Mollar, Human Rights
Group Secretary General; Iftikhar Hussain, Dr Salim Safdar, Saleem Abbas
Jilani, Commissioner Karachi; Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui and others.
